How to Install ESPN Plus on FireStick

Follow this procedure to install the ESPN app on your FireStick device, which will let you access your ESPN+ subscription.

1. Go to Find from your FireStick home screen.

2.  Scroll down and click Search .

3. Type in Espn . Then, scroll below the keyboard and select ESPN For Fire Tv  from the list of suggestions.

4. Click the result called ESPN for Fire TV under the APPS & GAMES section.

5. On the next screen, press the select button on your remote to click on the Download  or Get button.

After the installation, you can launch the app by clicking Open. Otherwise, you can launch ESPN anytime by pressing and holding the home button on your remote and going to Apps in the menu that appears. Then, just find ESPNamong your apps and select it.

Adding ESPN to Fire TV Stick Home Screen

If you are going to use the ESPN app often, it would be wise to place the app on your FireStick home screen. Here's how you can do that.

1.  From your FireStick home screen, go to the view all button.

2. Now, scroll to ESPN without selecting it. Press the options  button on your FireStick remote.

3.  Scroll down and select Move .

4. Use the directional buttons on your remote to move ESPN to the top row of apps, which are visible on your FireStick home screen. Press your remote's select button to approve the new location.

5. You can now access the ESPN app from your home screen.

How to Set Up and Watch ESPN Plus on FireStick

Before you can subscribe to ESPN+ and access its sports content, you need to register an account with ESPN. Skip to step 4 if you already have an ESPN account.

1. Open your internet browser on a convenient device (a laptop, tablet, or smartphone) and go to the ESPN+ website .

2. Click the Subscribe to ESPN+ only text on the home screen. If you prefer to get the ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+ bundle, click on GET THE DISNEY BUNDLE. This button will take you to a different signup page, but in both cases, the account you create can be linked within the ESPN app.

3. On the next page, fill in the information to create your account. The page shown below is the one you'll see if you click Subscribe to ESPN+ only. If you want to stay updated on offers from ESPN and other Disney companies, tick the optional check box. Then click Sign Up.

Your ESPN account has been created. Now, you need to log in to the ESPN app on your FireStick with the same account. After linking the ESPN app to your account, you'll be able to subscribe to one of the ESPN+ plans.

4. Launch the ESPN app on your FireStick.

5. Select the Settings gear in the top-right corner of the home screen.

6 . Click the first option, Account Information.

7. On the next page, select ESPN Account Log in.

8 . You'll be asked to visit espn.com/activate  on a computer or mobile device.

9 . Go to the site on your other device. Where it saysEnter Activation Code, type in theActivation Code displayed on your FireStick. Click Continue.

10 . You will be prompted to click Continue again.

11 . On the FireStick, you will see the message You have successfully logged into your account. Once you see it, click Finish.

12 . Now, go back to the ESPN home screen and select the ESPN+ tab at the top.

13. Select Sign Up Now.

14. You'll need to decide which plan you want. I highly recommend trying the service for a month before committing to the yearly plan. The yearly plan only saves you about $1 a month anyway.  Once you've decided on your plan, click Agree & Subscribe and complete the payment process.
